Air Force
Mac’s Air Force is a new section, and will focus on several areas.
- Civil Air Patrol: Due to an injury in junior high, I wasn’t able to pursue sports in high school, and ended up in the Civil Air Patrol. This section tells of the fun and drama in a Blue Uniform. Includes what we were doing during the Kennedy assassination and how it affected us.
- The Draft: A series of posts, on how the Vietnam Draft, affected our lives, from the time we entered high school. Advice, friends decisions-right or wrong, registering for the draft, Selective Service Exam and a Secret Pact.
- Air Force Days: Various posts from leaving home to basic training and overseas assignments.
